2.2 For 22q

We are doing a virtual race on November 22, 2020 for 22q. You can participate wherever you are! 

Some information on 22q11.2 deletion syndrome: 
-It is a disorder caused by a small missing piece of the 22nd chromosome, which can affect every system in the human body. 
-It is present in about 1 in every 2000 births 
- It is the second most common cause of developmental delay and congenital heart disease after Down Syndrome
-People living with 22q often have many complex medical issues and may need “the whole hospital”, having to see many different specialists and having many different conditions such as epilepsy, autism, GI issues, congenital heart defects, cleft palate, hearing loss, schizophrenia, autoimmune diseases, and many more. 

The 22q Family Foundation offers free services to these families and runs entirely off donations. Please join us and let’s get outside and walk/run to support these 22qties.
