Description

For your running pleasure, we added 2K to this course to make it 7K this year! It's still the same challenging trail run that serves up a number of steep climbs and descents over rocky trails with plenty of boulder hopping. But this year, we've added a new starting and ending point with a few different trails for some new views for your shoes.

Testimonials

Image
"This is the most challenging 7K race in the State.  Overcoming climbs , descents, boulders and weaknesses in mind and body will be your test.  But you can smile when you are done and coming down the East Trail after Sunrise.  It's like Boston's "Heartbreak Hill" --but you start with a hill 3 times higher, more or less."

--Bill Nowak, Two-time Boston Marathoner, three-time winner of Sunrise Challenge 5K Extreme Trail Run
