Virtual THANKS-giving Veteran's 5K

Come join us for a VIRTUAL 5k! 

How does this work? Participants can run, walk, trot or whatever works on their own time and turf! Time and distance will be entered on the website. Train and stay active, run for a good cause.

The Foxtrot Project was created to help homeless Veterans in the metropolitan Phoenix area with a larger outreach to other parts of the United States. 

Our mission is to bless Veterans one bag at a time. Right now we have initiated bi-monthly lunches. We have prepared and served over 500 in the last month! We DO NOT want to stop there. Our goal is to make 2000 more by the end of the year. Each lunch contains a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a chip bag, a small Gatorade bottle, a water bottle and a disposable face mask. Each lunch costs us about $7.57 each to make, and we have a sponsorship program of $5 each. Without our community's support, this last couple of rounds wouldn't have been possible. 

Here is where this Virtual 5k comes in. We want to start our larger mission: Blessing Bags

Don't know what a Blessing Bag is? It a is gently used or new backpack filled with reusable items including a small blanket, a reusable water bottle, tissues, sanitary wipes, deodorant, a small first aid kit, and much more. We have put together a list of resources for these Veterans to be able to guide them for further assistance. Including and not limited to local shelters, health care, food banks and other non profit projects in the area. 

This is all a lot to take on, but once again, we are on a mission. With the contribution from Registration Fees, all proceeds will be used to purchase all of the necessary items in able to fill these bags. We are asking for the community's help in donating gently use for new backpacks if you are in the area.

BUT... it gets better!

We have had 3 prizes graciously donated by an anonymous donor.

For the person that comes in the with highest amount raised, will receive a $150 Visa Gift card. 

Second place will receive a $50 Visa Gift card and Third place will receive a $25 Visa gift card. 

We understand that times are hard, but we wanted to give back in some sort of way possible. Thank you to our donors and silent partners that have made this all possible.
