Description
Presented by Tucson Medical Center, hosted by Race Oro Valley, and managed by On Your Left Fitness and Timing the ROV Youth Triathlon will take place at the beautiful La Mariposa Resort. While participants will be timed, this event is designed to get youth active in the multisport lifestyle. Participation is emphasized over placement. This race is great for first-timers and experienced young athletes. The younger-division course remains within the private property of La Mariposa Resort, keeping it safe for the athletes. The older-division course will be 100% coned off from traffic, keeping it safe for the athletes.
Distances
5-8 years old: 100 yard swim, 1.2 mile bike, .25 mile run
9-12 years old: 200 yard swim, 5.2 mile bike, .90 mile run
