Description

The Pascua Yaqui Diabetes Prevention & Treatment Program will host the Saint Francis Assisi October 3rd Virtual Spiritual Walk. The walk will be done virtually this  year due to Covid-19 and the necessary precautions the Diabetes Program is taking to keep you and yours safe. One of many apps on your phone such as STRAVA or RunKeeper, can be used to track your walk on Sunday the 3rd of October.  The Diabetes program is asking that you walk anyplace of your choosing, but keep safe with social distancing in mind.  Register and share distance through phone applications along with pictures of your walk.

Suggested Mileage is 4.2 miles which is equal to the Spiritual Walks held from the PYT Health Dept. to San Xavier Mission, but please do what you are able to.

Virtual walks are exactly like any regular walk but can be done at any location of your choice. Evidence of the race is all that is required through pictures and phone apps that track your activity.

Registration is free & sign up is easy

There are a limited number of shirts available to registrants within the Tucson area.

Participants must show Pascua Yaqui Tribal I.D. or employee badge from PYT Government or PYT Sol Casinos in order to receive T-Shirt.
(T-Shirts are adult sizes and limited)
