The **ATT Cup** is a fun, competitive team challenge within the American Triple-T. Athletes continue competing individually in the four-race Triple-T Challenge while also earning points for their team.
Clubs may enter multiple teams, creating friendly competition, camaraderie and bragging rights throughout the weekend.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION
- Each team consists of five registered Triple-T Challenge athletes.
- Clubs may enter multiple teams of five athletes.
- Athletes select or establish their team during registration.
- All team rosters must be finalized by **Friday, May 21, 2027, at 3:00 PM**.
- Once finalized, no roster changes or substitutions are permitted except in cases of injury or withdrawal from the Triple-T Challenge, subject to race management approval.
- Each athlete may compete on only one ATT Cup team.
SIMPLIFIED TEAM SCORING
**Lowest Four Scores Count. Highest Score Gets Tossed!**
- Each athlete earns points based on their overall finishing position by gender in each of the four Triple-T races.
- Following each race, the team's four lowest individual point scores are added together.
- The team's highest individual point score is discarded for that race.
- This process repeats for all four races.
- The four race totals are combined to determine the team's final ATT Cup score.
- The team with the lowest cumulative point total wins the ATT Cup!
### SCORING EXAMPLE
Team Member |Overall Gender Finish | Points
Athlete A | 5th | 5
Athlete B | 10th | 10
Athlete C | 12th | 12
Athlete D | 18th | 18
Athlete E | 25th | 25 — Finish Score Dropped
Team Race Score | **Best 4 Count** | 45
The team's score for this race is 45 points. The same scoring method applies to each of the four races, with the lowest cumulative team score determining the ATT Cup standings.
ATT CUP — TEAM SCORING RULE
Each ATT Cup team consists of five athletes. For each of the four Triple-T Challenge races, the **four lowest individual point scores count toward the team's race score**, while the highest score is discarded.
**A minimum of four team members must officially finish each race** for the team to receive a valid score. If fewer than four team members finish any race, the team becomes ineligible for the overall ATT Cup standings.
Team scores from all four races are added together, and the team with the **lowest cumulative point total** wins the ATT Cup.
ATT CUP — INJURY, WITHDRAWAL & SUBSTITUTION POLICY
If an ATT Cup team member withdraws from the Triple-T Challenge due to injury or other circumstances, the team may designate a replacement athlete who is registered for the Triple-T Challenge.
- Replacement Eligibility - The substitute must be officially registered for the Triple-T Challenge and cannot be competing on another ATT Cup team.
- Substitution Deadline - The replacement must be added to the team roster before the start of the first race in which they will represent the team.
- Scoring - The replacement athlete's results count toward team scoring beginning with their first race as a team member. Previous team scores remain unchanged.
- Final Roster Deadline - All substitutions must be completed before Sunday's racing begins. **No substitutions or team roster changes will be permitted after Saturday's races have concluded.**
- Race Management Approval - All substitutions must be approved by the Race Director.
These provisions allow teams to remain competitive when an athlete must withdraw while maintaining fairness and consistency throughout the ATT Cup competition.
