All participants must also meet the following segment cut-off times:
Swim must be completed in under 20 mins from the start of the race.
Bike must be completed in under 1 hour 50 mins from the start of the race (including swim time)
Run must be completed in under 2 hours - 30 mins from the start of the race (including swim & bike times).

Event officials reserve the right to pull a participant off the course if it appears as though that participant will not be able to complete the race by the designated cut-off times.

SWIM COURSE

  • No Diving! You must enter the water feet first.
  • Stay Constantly to the Right: Treat each lane like a two-way street. Always swim on the right side of the black line on the pool floor.
  • Yield to Foot Taps: If a faster swimmer taps your feet from behind, pause for one second in the right-hand corner at the next wall to let them safely turn and pass.
  • No Pulling on Lane Lines: You are allowed to grab a lane line or stand on the pool floor to rest, but you cannot use them to pull yourself forward.
  • Do Not Block the Walls: Move quickly when ducking under the lane ropes to change lanes. Do not stand or rest on the wall apex where people turn.
  • No Running on the Pool Deck: You must walk carefully when moving from the staging line into the pool, and when exiting the water toward the stairs.
  • No wetsuits. The pool temps do not allow for permitted wetsuits.

BIKE COURSE (No Drafting)

  • 5 Bike Lengths Distance: You must keep a 10-meter (33-foot) gap between your front wheel and the front wheel of the cyclist ahead of you.
  • 20-Second Pass Window: Once you enter someone's draft zone to pass, you have exactly 20 seconds to move your front wheel ahead of theirs.
  • Pass on the Left Only: Overtaking someone on the right side is an automatic penalty.
  • Drop Back if Passed: If another rider completes a pass on you, the burden is on you to immediately back out of their new 10-meter zone.
  • Stay Right: Ride on the right side of the lane; riding on the left or side-by-side without passing is a "blocking" violation.

 RUN COURSE

  • You must have your run bib on and facing the FRONT at all times.
  • Carrying Phones is Allowed: You can keep your phone in a pocket, belt, or armband for silent GPS data tracking.
  • NO Headphones Permitted: All headphones, earbuds, and even bone-conducting headphones are strictly banned.
  • No Phone Interactions: You cannot make calls, text, take photos, or view screens while moving on the course.
  • No Speakers: You cannot play music or audio cues out loud from your phone speaker.
  • Emergency Exception: To use your phone legally, you must pull completely off the course and come to a dead stop.

Minimum Age:

The minimum age allowed for participating in the race is 10 years old.

Timing System:

This event will be timed using the MyLaps Bib Tag Timing System.  All run turn locations will have timing mats to verify completion of the course.
