Run for Trees - Brazil South East Stage

Hi there, i am creating this race to gather the world community who loves racing and...trees, lots of them! I am a native tree passionate and I intend to recover some parts of degraded areas of my town, then other parts of Southeast area of Brazil, home of the Great Forest Mata Atlantica, which now, remains roughly only 7% of old 1500´s century Mata Atlantica.

In a 2 years timeframe we will invest in brazilian native seeds, soil, pots, logistics and engage local community to support on the task of nursing and planting. We intend to tag all planted trees with description and its location and inform it through dedicated website.
