Course Cutoffs & Timelines – What to Know
Cutoff #1
Full Battle participants must reach Leg #4 (Clear Lake exit) within 2 hours and 25 minutes of the race start.
If you don’t make it by then—no worries! You’ll be rerouted to finish the course via Leg 4 of Half the Battle. You’ll still get an official finish time and be entered in the BOW Hybrid category. It’s still a fantastic accomplishment!
Cutoff #2
Full Battle participants must reach Leg #8 (Crooked Lake exit) within 4 hours and 45 minutes of the race start.
Anyone not making this cutoff will be shuttled to the finish line—cheering squad included!
Course Timing Overview
The course will officially close 6.5 hours after the race begins.
After that, you're welcome to continue, but course support may be limited.
The staging area cleanup begins at the 6-hour mark, and the finish line will remain open until 7 hours after race start.
