Transfer Policy

Within the Same Ride Day (Event Transfer AKA Ride Distance/Start Time Changes)

  1. Transfers are permitted from one event to another within the same ride date provided General Registration is still open.
  2. There is a $2.95 transfer fee to transfer from one event to another within the same ride.
  3. If a rider is transferring from a higher priced event to a lower priced event, the rider will not be refunded the difference.
  4. If a rider is transferring from a lower priced event to a higher priced event, the rider will be required to pay the difference.
  5. Rider will have to pay all differences in event pricing.
  6. Riders must initiate transfer no later than (3) days prior to the ride date.
  7. Bib transfers from one person to another is not allowed. No exceptions.

Instructions:

To edit your registration, begin by logging into your RunSignUp.com account, and go to your “Profile” page. On the “Profile” page, see Rides under Upcoming Events. This shows a list of all Ride(s) that are coming up. You are able to manage the registration for the Ride by clicking "Manage Registration". From there, you will click "Transfer Event" on the left side menu, and then click "Start Transfer". Now you will select the race you are wanting to transfer TO, fill out necessary questions and pay fees (if applicable).

Ride to Ride (Ride Transfer to different Date/City)

  1. Transfers are permitted from one ride date to another ride date provided General Registration is still open.
  2. There is a $4.95 transfer fee to transfer from one ride to another ride.
  3. The ride transferred into must be in the same calendar year as the original ride year. Rides not included are any SOLD OUT events.
  4. If a rider is transferring from a higher priced ride to a lower priced event, the rider will not be refunded the difference.
  5. If a rider is transferring from a lower priced ride to a higher priced event, the rider will be required to pay the difference in addition to the transfer fee.
  6. Participant will have to pay all differences in event pricing.
  7. Riders must transfer out of a race no later than (14) days prior to the ride date.

Select the appropriate Ride and then click "Start Transfer".

Deferral Policy

For the 2024 season, Bikes & Beers is allowing event deferrals to 2025 for a processing fee of $9.95. All deferrals must be submitted (14) days sooner from the event date. Within the 14-day period, if you have a medical emergency, please email us HERE and depending on the circumstances we will consider a manual deferral.

Instructions:

Log in to your RunSignUp.com account. Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration. On the left of the screen select “Defer Registration” & follow the steps which includes paying the $9.95 deferral fee. When 2025 registration opens you will receive an email on how to register for the event at no charge.

Event Refund Policy

In the event that you register for a Bikes & Beers event and cannot participate, there are no refunds UNLESS you wish to transfer or defer your registration BEFORE the cut-off date for each method listed above. Additionally, refer to item 14 of the Yellowfin Events LLC Waiver: This event follows the standard cycling industry policy: All entry fees are non refundable and non transferable to any other participant. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable. Please understand that your registration fee has already gone toward your portion of the event experience. We incur expenses well in advance of event day to put on a successful event.

 

Event Pre-Ordered Merchandise Policy

All merchandise pre-ordered in the event registration checkout process will be available for pickup at the event after party. Please find the merchandise tent and give your last name to our volunteers. They will then redeem your purchase. All pre-ordered merchandise is nonrefundable. All merchandise purchases (including pre-orders) are final. No exchanges and no refunds. Bikes & Beers is not responsible for shipping merchandise to you if you do not pick it up at the event.

If you did not pick up your pre-ordered merchandise on event day, please visit this LINK to pay the shipping and handling fee for the item(s) to be delivered to you. Please note, it could take as much as 10 business days for your merchandise to ship.  

 

Children, Pets and Trailer Policy

  • All ages are permitted in the post-ride party portion of the event. No one under the age of 16 is permitted to participate in the cycling portion of the event. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 20 years old must be accompanied by someone over the age of 21. Participants under 21 will not be served alcohol.
  • Pets are prohibited during the cycling portion of the event. Pets are allowed in the post-ride party on a brewery-by-brewery basis. Please reach out via email (info@bikesandbeers.com) for specifics.
  • All bicycle trailers are prohibited during the cycling portion of the event due to safety concerns. Trailers can be big, bulky and awkward for other participants to navigate around. Please detach any trailers from your bike before participating.
