FAQ

Q: When is the event?  A: Harlinsdale Farm / Franklin TN 


Q: Where is the event?  A: Saturday 11/13/21


Q: Where do I park and is there a fee?  A: The park at Harlinsdale Farm has ample parking (you will be directed). Parking is FREE!


Q: What is the event day schedule?  A:  Race Start Time 9:00 AM 

Q: Will there be early packet pickup? Yes, location and time TBA 

Q: What is the difference between the 5K ruck/walk/run and the Boot Runner division A: The 5K Boots for Troops is open to anyone and everyone [walkers, runners, boot wearers, and those in running shoes. The Boot Runner Division is ONLY for those running or walking in combat-style boots. 

Q: I don’t run, can I walk?  A: Absolutely! Everyone is welcome. 

Q: Do you have no-competitive teams? Yes! You can have a team made up of friends, co-workers, church groups et., Teams with 5 or more are eligible for our team awards which include: Most Patriotic, the largest team as of the close of online registration. Since this is a non-competitive team everyone is welcome to move at their own pace and are still eligible for individual awards. 


Q: What if I don’t want to walk or run, is there anything for me to do?  A: Absolutely…!!!! We would love to have you as a volunteer or come out and cheer on the runners/walkers and marchers 


Q: Do I have to wear boots?  A:  No, boots are not mandatory for the 5K. However, they are mandatory for the RUCK and Boots divisions.  

Q: What type of pack can I use for the GORUCK?  A: You’re welcome to use any type of pack you like. As long as it will hold 25 pounds you’re welcome to wear it. 

Q: What should I put in my pack to make up the 25 pounds? A: You can use whatever you like. However, bags of rice, bags of flour (or sand), hand-weights and can goods work well. The size of your pack dictates what you use for weight. 

Q: Are kids welcome?  A: YES! This is a family event. Please bring the kids -- bring your flags, cowbells and walk in the 1K family parade and cheer on other walkers/runners… have a great time!
