The Bridge Builder 5K cannot be a success without our beloved community of Sponsors and Volunteers.
On May 25, 2024 in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, we are hosting our inaugural Bridge Builder 5K Run. This event will be one of our premier scholarship fundraisers for the calendar year. Proceeds from the 5K will aid in our scholarship and mentoring efforts in the Birmingham area.
On behalf of the Alpha Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Birmingham, Alabama, and our 501(c)3 foundations, Omega Scholarship and Benevolence Fund, Inc. (OSBF) and Omega Lamplighters, we are requesting your support to assist in our labors as community leaders and in the development of male youth that are desperately needed in this historical community.
OSBF is an approved 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing scholarships and benevolent funding to deserving students and organizations to assist with educational needs; to provide support in the areas relating to public and community service initiatives; to inspire others to realize their full potential as productive and responsible citizens addressing issues facing youth and providing them the proper guidance in our community.
Omega Lamplighters is an approved 501(c)3 organization, which is a youth leadership organization, dedicated to young men ages 12-18. Our interactive program of involvement serves to provide positive role models in helping these young men acquire interpersonal skills and a sense of worth and empowerment. Through our mentoring program, we help to develop the youth into role models for other youth and ultimately into contributing adults who will be able to positively impact our communities. Our aim is to turn good young men into GREAT young men!
The Sponsorship Levels are as follows:
1. Water Station ($100) – Placement of signage with company logo at water station (2 available)
2. Mile Marker ($150) – Placement of signage with company logo at along racecourse mile markers
3. Gold ($400) – Company/Organization/Name logo advertised on 5K Run t-shirt, 2 complimentary registration passes and with 2 t-shirts.
4. Purple ($750) – Company/Organization/Name logo advertised on 5K Run t-shirt in a premium location, 6 complimentary registration passes with 6 t-shirts and complimentary Booth space for your Company/Organization.
5. Platinum ($1500 and above) – Company/Organization/Name logo advertised on 5K Run t-shirt in a premium location, 10 complimentary registration passes with 10 t-shirts and complimentary Booth space for your Company/Organization.
