The Haunted Bay Area Run Tour (240 mile challenge)-9/8/20-11/29/20!
The Haunted Bay Area Run Tour starts (virtually) on haunted Hicks Road in Los Gatos and continues for more than 240 miles throughout the Bay Area culminating with the final Haunt in Colma (The City of The Dead)! This haunted running (or walking/hiking) tour includes some of the spookiest, haunted spots in the SF Bay Area including....
- Haunted Hicks Road (mile 0)
- The Winchester Mystery House (mile 13)
- Agnews Hospital (mile 22)
- The White Witch of Fremont (mile 35)
- Lone Tree Cemetery (mile 49)
- Joaquin Miller Park (mile 65)
- The Mountain of the Devil (mile 80)
- The Black Diamond Mines (mile 96)
As you hit certain mileage thresholds, you'll unlock virtual 'haunts' to explore. Each haunt you unlock includes history, rumors, and custom content.
Additionally, each haunt includes a fun, interactive, Choose Your Own Adventure type 'experience' (as you step into the shoes of a young paranormal investigator/ghost whisperer) that provides an opportunity to dig into the history, lore, and mystery around each haunt.
Conquer all 240 miles (and 15 haunts) between 9/8 and 11/29 and you'll unlock an epic interactive experience at Colma (The City of the Dead)! Knock off 300, 350, or 400 miles and you'll unlock BONUS HAUNTS!
No matter how far you run (there is no minimum number of miles/haunts required), you'll receive an awesome Haunted Bay Area Run Tour gender specific, lifestyle tee and a GLOW IN THE DARK race woodallion from Aravaipa Artworx! Check out the images of the shirt and woodallion below!
