RUN FOR RIO 5k

The 2026 RUN FOR RIO 5k (3.1 miles) walk/run & Kids 1k (for 10 & under) is a fun community event for the entire family!

This event promotes good health & wellness, while also raising funds for Rio Del Mar Elementary School.

The race is hosted by the Rio Del Mar Parent Alliance in support of our amazing students and teachers!

Take advantage of our early bird pricing through Feb 28 & sign up a family of 4 or 5 for the 5k and receive discount!

Fleet Feet gift cards & Rio gear will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group (male/female) in both the 1k and 5k! 

All participants receive a Run for Rio water bottle or coffee mug & we're giving ALL proceeds right back to Rio Del Mar Elementary school. 

Martinelli's apple juice, Pacific Cookie Co cookies & a finishers ribbon will also be waiting for you at the finish line!

Fri 3/13: Pre-race packet pick-up at Rio Del Mar Elementary from 12-12:30pm (you can also register at that time!)

Sun 3/15: Registration & packet pick up between 8-8:45am at Seascape Park.
