Description
The 2nd Annual Color Me GREEN 5K is sponsored by South Yuba Recreation Volunteer Association, in support of our local 4-H program!
Your friends will turn GREEN with envy after they've found out you've registered for the areas most unique run - on the trails of the Sierra Foothills just outside of Marysville, California.
This timed race challenges runners to avoid (or invite) being bombarded with green (food-based) dye as they run through the Sierra Foothills Research Extension Center's trail system.
The Color Me Green event is designed to encourage youth and community members to increase their physical activity while also having fun! The color run is available to all ages, and is open to everyone is the community. The run will take place in the scenic sierra foothills, just east of Marysville, CA off of Highway 20, and is different than any other run in our area!
Because we are sponsoring this event in support of a youth based organization - there will be a significant discount for youth participants!

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up & Registration
Pre-race packet pick up will be on Thursday, March 9 and Friday, March 10 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Sutter Yuba 4-H Office, Garden Highway, Yuba City, CA 95991. Registration will also be available during this time - we will have extra color packets available for purchase. These packets are large and come in a variety of colors (pink, blue, yellow, purple, and green)
Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up
Race day registration and packet pick up will be available at the race site from 7:30-8:45 a.m. We will have extra color packets available for purchase at this time.
