4th Annual West Coast SCADaddle 5K For Research

This is a fun/walk run 5K to raise funds and awareness for a little know and poorly understood cause of a heart attack called Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD).  SCAD typically affects younger, otherwise healthy individuals especially women (Average Age is 42).  SCAD can be fatal.  We have a non profit (501 (c) (3) tax exempt public charity)  called SCAD Research, Inc which raises money to help fund the SCAD research program at the Mayo Clinic.  SCAD Research, Inc. used 97% of its revenue in 2016 to support research as we are an all volunteer organization) 

The 5K is a celebration for survivors coming from all over the US, Canada and Europe. The donation to participate is $30 for adults, and $15 for kids (6-12), under 6 is free.   Everyone who participates received a Medal, a Mexican meal, a participation t shirt and FUN!!!   Please join us!!!
