Description
Lake Poway Loop Trail is a 2.8 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Poway, California that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
You can continue on to Potato Chip Rock, if you choose!
First time MWR on the Trail participants will receive a t-shirt upon locating our staff on the trail. Repeat hikers have the chance to claim other prizes in lieu of the shirts.
FREE for everyone. $5 to receive cool swag!
Important Considerations:
- This is self lead hike. While finding MWR staff is the goal, safety and preparedness is each individual hiker's responsibility.
- This trail is not stroller friendly and may be challenging for younger children. Please plan accordingly. Backpack carriers are a great option if travelling with your little.
- Be aware there is a $10 parking fee for non residents on the weekends. Bees are in the area so it is not a good hike for those who are allergic.
