We are sorry to cancel the Claremont Classic 2020.
Hello stalwart supporters of racewalking and power walking. We are so sorry we felt the need to cancel the Claremont Classic 2020. After consulting with our First Aid team nurse, the CEO, and Vice President of Pilgrim Place our planning team decided it is in the best interest of everyone to be on the safe side of this virus. We wish you all well. We hope to see you in 2021.

Description
This is a Southern California Regional event sanctioned by USATF.
If anyone thinks that they will be setting a National record, please let us know by February 15th.
There will be 10,000 m, and 5000 m, and 3000 m racewalks along with 5000 m and 1500 m power walks sanctioned by the USATF.
We will be using rolling starts so start times listed are estimated start times. Please arrive 45 minutes early for your race to sign-in and warm up.
At 7:30 am the 10,000 m racewalkers will begin. A 5000 m power walk will start at approximately 9:00 am. The 5000 m racewalk will start approximately 10:00 am. At 11:00 am there will be a 3000 m race walk. The day will end with a 1500 m power walk starting about 11:30 am. Remember that the start times are approximate as there will be rolling starts.
The charge for one race is $39; a discount will be applied for those entering into multiple races. Second and third races will have an additional charge of $10 each.
Online registration closes March 26th at 11:59 p.m. On-site registration fees will increase to $50 for one race and $15 for a second race, as well as $15 for a third race.
Medals will be awarded to first through third place winners for all races. First through third place medals will be awarded in the following age ranges: 20 yrs-29 yrs (1 group); 30 yrs and up (5-year groups).
