Join us for the Second Annual Running For Warriors 5K, presented by Veterans Freedom Shows and Events
Start Veterans Day with a run that brings our community together in honor of those who have served. Join us on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in Clovis for a morning on the Clovis Old Town Trail, starting at California Health Sciences University.
Choose the 5K Competitive Run, the 5K Fun Run/Walk, or the 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Whether you are chasing a finish time, walking with friends, or bringing the family, there is a way to take part. A Virtual 5K option is also available for those joining from afar. Gather your crew, enjoy the morning together, and make Running For Warriors part of your Veterans Day tradition.
Running on the Clovis Old Town Trail
The course begins at the California Health Sciences University in Clovis at 7:00am.
Separate start times for the Competitive 5K and Fun Runs.
Preliminary results are posted online as you cross the finish.

Post Race Activities
After the race, you can go over to Clovis Veterans Memorial District for a Pancake breakfast from 0700-1100, Live Band and Car Show 0900-1400, Faces of our Veterans Exhibit 0900-1400, Veteran Documentaries 0900-1400, tour the Community Heritage Center 0900-1400, and the Patriotic Concert begins at 1100. Veterans Freedom Shows and Events
Veterans Freedom Shows and Events is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veteran-focused causes.
Our mission is simple but impactful: To provide financial assistance to organizations that honor and serve our nation’s veterans, including Central Valley Honor Flight and Wreaths Across America.
