Description
The "Be Your Own Hero" 5k Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run is taking place on August 27th in the Historic Downtown Hanford. MGM Fitness started this event in 2014 on behalf of Kings Rehabilitation Center. This event in 2014 and 2015 raised a net profit of $17,003.79. The money raised from this event has helped Kings Rehabilitation Center continue to provide the services for members in our community with special needs. This year's event mark's the "Be Your Own Hero" Walk/Runs third year of organizing this event to raise funds for members in our communities. The 2017 event will follow its tradition in ensuring that all of its net proceeds go to the community. This year's event will be raising funds for Kings Rehabilitation Center as well as for two high school scholarships that will be awarded to 2018 high school graduates in Kings and Tulare County.

Packet pick-up for this event will take place on August 25, 2017 at MGM Fitness - 204 W, 8th Street in Hanford, CA between 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. We encourage everyone to pickup packets during this time. Packets can also be picked up the day of event from 7 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
