Description
The fifth annual Crazy Creek Beer & Brat Lite Run/Walk promises family fun with races for all ages and a beer/root beer-and-brat lunch afterward, with medals for all participants and prizes for the winners. The event, hosted by the Lake County Milers, features a mostly flat 5K on a dirt/gravel course through a scenic meadow with views of the surrounding hills for adults and youths 10 and up. Two kids' races (with lower prices; see below): 1/2K (ages 4 and 5) and 1K (ages 6 through 9). Short award ceremony for top winners in the kids races and the top five men and top five women in the 5K run and the top five in the 5K walk. Plus special prizes for the best hats (must be worn during the race). Come to the Milers' Oktoberfest-style event and enjoy a scenic race and fun for all at Crazy Creek Gliderport, four miles north of Middletown in beautiful southern Lake County.

Fees for youths 16 and under and kids' races
The fee for youths 16 and under is $8 for the 5K through Sept. 21. Thereafter and on race day, the fee will be $13. Milers get a $3 discount.
