Run a K for DYRK1A

Walk or run, 1k or more, it's DYRK1A Syndrome we do it for.

DYRK1A Syndrome US is hosting our forth "Virtual" Run a K for DYRK1A. Individuals can choose to run, walk, or simply join a team and cheer on all warriors from the comfort of their home! Welcome worldwide participation too. Contact us if we can help you with your virtual run.

We will celebrate our Awareness Day with the run/walk. 

All participants are encouraged to share their Run photos on social media! Please use the following hashtags #runakfordyrk1a, #dyrk1asyndrome and #dyrk1a  so we can cheer on all of our WARRIORS! If you can't run, we'd also love to see you do something FUN (i.e. splashing in a pool, going for a bike ride, baking cookies,...). Join us for the fun. 

During the registration process, there is an option to create and/or join a team. We encourage all DYRK1A families to create their own group, allowing family and friends to rally together and raise funds as a team! Prizes will be awarded to the team with the most participants, team with the most money raised, and team with the greatest team spirit!

There is no obligation to join a team and participation can be done on an individual level!

Pricing for participants 18 years and older: $12.00.  Participants between 10-17 years old: $10.00. Participants 9 years older or younger free (will be reflected during check out).

The funds generated on Run Sign Up, Give Sign Up & Bonfire.com will go directly to DYRK1A Syndrome US which is a registered tax exempt 501c3 organization. Our programs and services do extend outside of the US with our collaboration and work with DYRK1A Syndrome International Association. DYRK1A Syndrome US is committed to utilizing the funds that are generated from outside the US for programs & services that benefit the entire international DYRK1A Community.
