Half Marathon
Celebrate The New Year With Us! Join us for 2027 and help us make it even better! We're giving out some goodies to the first couple registrations so don't miss out and register now!
Our Half Marathon course is roughly 90% on a trail with the remaining 10% on asphalt. Below is a quick overview of the course.
The start of the course is at Shane's Inspiration in Griffith Park.
Mile 1: Upper Old Zoo Trail
Mile 2: Bill Eckert Trail (Hills with beautiful views!)
Miles 3-5: Mainly downhill on asphalt
Miles 6-8: Rolling Hills (Tetris)
Mile 9: All downhill
Miles 10-13: Quick flat trail to the finish!
Our 12K shares the same start line as the Half Marathon.
Miles 1-3: You will pass through the old Griffith Park Zoo and zoom through some hills
Mile 4: All downhill
Miles 5-7+: Quick flat trail to the finish!
Our 5K is a nice and quick route around the golf course.
15K Relay
Create a team of 3 and each run a 5K loop. Compete in any of our 3 divisions for the relay!

Packet Pick-Up

Please bring your ID and registration confirmation email (electronic or printed)
You can pick up for your friend's packets if you have a copy of their ID.
If you cannot make it to packet pickup you can still pick up race morning starting at 6:15am at your corresponding start line! Bib pickup will be closing 10 minutes prior to the start time of each event.
Late registration is still available at packet pickup and race morning. We will NOT be accepting any cash payments unless it's exact change.
We will be starting promptly, please plan accordingly.
Race Day Schedule
If you cannot make it to packet pickup you can still pick up race morning.
- Half Marathon: 6am to 7:10am
- 12K: 6am to 7:55am
- 5K: 6am to 8:10am

Additional parking is available at Lot One at the Merry Go Round as well as south of the race area

Absolutely no dogs are allowed on this run due to liability reasons with our insurance, sorry!
There's a cutoff of 4 hours for the Half Marathon, 3 hours and 15 minutes for the 12K, and 3 hours for the 15K Relay.
There will be porta potties at the start/finish line and there are also park restrooms available. At approximately mile 10, there will be some park restrooms as well
Yes! We will be providing water stations on the course, BUT we highly recommend that all half marathon/12K runners bring their own hydration packs/bottles, etc. as we will be minimizing the use of cups on the course. This is our way to keep the park and trails clean and free of trash.
Unfortunately, we will not be mailing out any items. All items must be picked up on-site. This applies to race items and awards.
