Please join Runners for Public Lands for a weekend of running, hiking, camping, and star gazing, as we explore the local flora and fauna of the magnificent Montaña de Oro State Park on August 19-21. The weekend will be packed with nature hikes identifying local flora and fauna, birding, yoga, information on land acknowledgement, and of course, trail running!
As a nonprofit committed to building inclusive running communities dedicated to protecting the environment, we welcome everyone to join us for a weekend of learning, exploration, and community!
OVERVIEW
Each day will include a morning and afternoon run ranging in distance and ability level. Throughout the day, we will offer various activities to learn more about the history of MDO, the surrounding areas, and other ways to engage with the local landscape. In the evenings, we welcome everyone to BYOfood and drinks and join us around the campfire as we share stories and chat about this beautiful place.
CAMPING
PLEASE CARPOOL - ONLY ONE CAR ALLOWED PER PARTY! We have plenty capacity for people, but not cars! :)
