Sunset Sweat LA

Sweat it out at sunset while actively making a positive impact. 90% of the registration fees will go directly to these organizations:

- American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 

- We Are Ultra Violet

- The Climate Reality Project

You may choose to funnel your entire fee into one organization of your choosing. Otherwise, the fee will be divided amongst all three. 

This will be a virtual 5k race that can be run from anywhere. Simply submit a screenshot of your time that includes distance, date and time from a liable tracking application. (Nike Running app, Run Keeper etc).

Winner of the race will receive a sweatshirt from IDONTMIND, a mental health campaign with a mission to inspire open conversations about mental health and to provide resources, education, and encouragement for anyone who needs it. This is where the other 10% of your fee will apply. Winner be able to select a hoodie of their choosing! 

I discovered through my own attempts at healing that movement played a key role. While we may feel helpless in the midst of grief, taking initiative to move our bodies allows us to feel that we're taking actionable steps to heal. We cannot change our circumstances, but we are not helpless. We can take action by advocating for positive change. That's where this idea was born to run in (virtual) community to support these organizations who are researching, educating and providing helpful resources to make the world a better place. Join me at sunset from anywhere your heart desires and let's do some good.
