ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD THE APRIL 2021 ANGALLS AND DEMENS 5K/10K TRAIL RUN?

January 2021

At the conclusion of conversations with both city and county officials and reviews of current state mandates and guidelines, Rancho Racing has determined that, at this time, it is neither safe nor feasible to plan for any races in 2021.

Our organization had to modify or cancel all of our 2020 in-person events and, at this time, are suspending all of our events for 2021. This suspension will continue until permits for large events are available in San Bernardino County and race planning and registrations can begin again safely. This action will, hopefully, allow us to operationally weather this global health crisis until we can safely stage our races again.

Near term, this will mean that:

  • We will not organize the April 2021 Angalls and Demens 5K/10K Trail Run
  • We will not organize the September 2021 Run at the Park 5K/10K
  • We have suspended grants for organizations that support our race day efforts

We hope to see you on the trails and roads again as soon as possible.

Description

Join us for the Angalls and Demens 5K/10K Trail Run as we run through Angalls and Demens Canyons as part of Rancho Cucamonga's only trail run!

Set at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, the 5K trails are not technical (making it a good course for first-time trail runners) while the 10K features challenging climbs and areas of singletrack. Competitors will run over rocks and roots, cover multiple types of terrain, and go up (and down) some quad-burning hills. Each course provides breathtaking views of the Inland Empire, Pomona Valley, and San Gabriel Valley. No matter the distance, there's no better way to start the year than with a springtime challenge and time on the trail!

Why start the year with the Angalls & Demens 5K/10K Trail Run?

  • Getting cheered on by our enthusiastic volunteers along the course
  • FREE Post-race pastries and snacks
  • FREE Chocolate Milk
  • FREE Race Photos
  • FREE Race Shirt
  • One Awesome Finisher's Medal
  • Overall Top Male & Female Awards
