Description
On Saturday, November 7, DAV will hold its second annual 5K at NTC Park at Liberty Station in Point Loma. Funds raised go to DAV, a non-profit that helps more than 1 million veterans in life-changing ways each year.
The DAV 5K is unique because participants can run, walk, roll their wheelchair, or ride a motorcycle on the course, in honor of a loved one who is serving or who has served in the military. With more than 21 million veterans in our country (and more than 93,000 living in San Diego) most people know and love a veteran, and are looking for fun and rewarding ways to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom.
