Face In Water Endurance Multisport Challenge 2026

Face In Water, a non-profit providing customized swimming and water safety education to reduce drownings and create awareness about the importance of learning how to swim, is hosting this annual Endurance Multisport Challenge. If you exercise on purpose, you are an athlete, and we invite athletes of all ages and abilities to participate and support the Face In Water mission. This event is a virtual event, so you can participate wherever you are in the world, including your local pool or open water.

For the swim-only categories, you can choose to complete 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 or 1,000 miles in the calendar year.

In the Multisport categories, you can swim, bike/spin, run, walk, or hike to reach your year goal. This year, we are including options for 500, 1,000 miles, 2,500 miles or 5,000 miles total of these categories. 

Distance will be tracked one of two ways:

1) If you have a Garmin device, you will be able to join a Garmin Group via invite, that is available through the Garmin Connect App. A link will be e-mailed to you once you register for the event.

2) Alternately, you have the option to track how you wish and submit via RunSignUp.

Once completed, a Face In Water branded item and finisher certificate - as well as bragging rights - will be awarded to all that complete their challenge.

All participants must turn in their distances completed to fiwracedirector@gmail.com by January 10, 2027 to receive their award.
