Great Navy Campout

Experience a different type of camping with Balboa Community Recreation. This years campout is a LUAU theme and it is going to take place at Admiral Baker Picnic and RV Park. Cost includes dinner and breakfast (continental), and entertainments.  Participants must provide their own camping gear and snacks. Camping gears may be reserved at Outdoors Adventure Center by calling 619-556-7493. OAC is located on the dry side, next to the Bowling Center, corner of Vesta and Norman Scott Rd.  

Camping is at 2400 Admiral Baker Rd., San Diego, 92120. Check in August 21 at 2pm. Check out at 1000am on August 22.

The following rules applies in using Admiral Baker Picnic Area:
- pets are no allowed 
- Fire pits and bonfires are not permitted
- No smoking anywhere in the picnic area
- Ensure trash is picked and disposed of properly

August 21

1400-1500 Check-in.

1500-1800 Games, DIY Projects and Line Dancing Tutorial. Projects includes DIY Telescopes, Decorating Visors, and DIY Kites. The following activities will be available. Horse shoes, Shuffle Board, Basketball, Cornhole, Giant Connect 4 and Giant Jengas.

1800 - 1900 Dinner (Katsu Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Kalua Pork, Rice, and Macaroni Salad)

1900-1945 Polynesian Dancers

 1945-2000 DIY Dessert

  2000 - 2200 Outdoor Movie

2200 Quiet Time

0700-0800 Brown Bag Breakfast ( muffins, danish, milk and juice). Coffee will also be available. 

0800-0900 Family Yoga

0900-1000 Breakdown
