Intro to Bouldering

Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations and rock walls, without ropes or harnesses. For first time boulderers, this event includes an intro to bouldering class, as well as gear rentals and chalk for everyone! Food and drinks will be provided in between climbs; all ages are welcome to try out different difficulty levels.

Along with a climbing pass, intro class, gear, and chalk, participants will receive an adventure fanny pack, water bottle, chalk, and snacks. Asylum Rock Climbing Center is the only outdoor rock climbing center in San Diego! Climbing grades range from beginner to expert.
