Kids’ Survival Skills: Disaster Preparedness

The region and climate of San Diego make the City susceptible to earthquakes, wildfires and flooding– which can all be handled safely with the right responses. In this class, kids can earn their Junior First Responder badge by learning about disaster preparedness and how to safely handle emergency situations. Participants receive an emergency disaster kit, MREs, a medical kit, and a bandana. S’mores will be made at the end of the event!
