Join us for a guided urban hike descends into Manzanita Canyon riparian and chaparral habitats. This is an easy 2-mile hike with an elevation gain/loss of up to 200 feet and some slight challenges.

This urban hike starts from the Azalea Park recreation center. There will be some walking on uneven river cobbles which may make footing difficult for a short section.
(City Heights) From I-805, exit east on Home Ave. and go 0.3 mile. Turn left on Fairmount Ave. and go 0.7 mile. Turn left on Poplar St. and go 0.6 mile to the entrance of Azalea Community Park and park in the lot. Facilities. (GPS N32.732562, W117.107830)
