MWR VADM Martin Liberty is volunteering at Feeding San Diego on Thursday, November 13, 6pm - 8pm to aid with food sorting at their Distribution Center. This two-hour, hands-on volunteer shift may include cleaning fresh produce, packing boxes of food, or sorting through food that has been donated. As the holidays approach, it is an important time to reflect on how we can support our local community.
Register online to join our volunteer group (volunteer cap -12 people). Beginning November 6th, MWR Liberty will contact all signups by email. Signups will be required to confirm they are volunteering no later than November 11, 2025. Every helping hand counts, and we want to ensure all spots are filled.
MWR Liberty transportation is provided and will depart from VADM Martin Liberty Center at 5:15pm. Please arrive a few minutes prior to ensure we leave on time. Select your preferred transportation plans during registration. If we reach volunteer capacity, standby volunteers are encouraged to show up at VADM Martin Liberty Center at 5:15pm in case of volunteer no-shows/ last minute cancelations.
An LOA will be provided for your community service hours.
