Description
It's that time of year where everyone in SF pulls out their costumes and takes over the city. So why not start it off by running around and chasing the lights with us! Grab your best halloween costume and let's get going!
Starting at A Runner's Mind in Laurel Heights you'll make your way by foot to Studiomix for a quick "fit-stop" then back over to the finish at Barrel Head Brewhouse (shortest route is 3.9 miles). The only catch is you have to follow the street lights!
The Rules are simple:
1) Run straight through green lights
2) Turn left or right at red lights
3) NO STOPPING TO WAIT
4) Pick your direction at stop signs
Registration is only $30 ($25 if you don't want a t-shirt) up to 1 week before the race then it goes up to $40. The race will start at 11:00am with check in starting at 10:00am. Race day registration is available but why not sign up early to save some $$.
Each runner will get a Chase the Lights tech tee (-$5 if you opt out) and a FREE BEER with their entry along with snacks and Hint Water at the finish line.
There's an amazing post race raffle starting at 12:30pm with custom prizes for the fastest time, shortest route, and longest route. There will also be a special prize for the best costume!
Some of the prizes include but are not limited to:
- A lululemon black card (free shirt)
- A pair of Asics shoes
- An entry into a City Beer Runs race
- A gift certificate to A Runner's Mind
- Alpine Dam Hats
- 3-month membership to MoveWith
