Recording Academy Virtual 5K presented by Staff Council

Greetings from Staff Council!

You are invited to the 1st annual Recording Academy & Affiliates Virtual Staff 5k! The program will take place July 14 - 21 and you will be able to complete your 5K (3.1 miles) in any way that you feel comfortable during that window. Whether it is running, walking, or jogging we want you to participate! Family and pets are more than welcome to join in the fun as well. To participate in the 5K, please follow these steps:

1. Click "Sign up" to register
2. Select your preferred shirt size by no later than July 8:
   • **Note: LA Staff order by July 8 to get shirt shipped to you. Otherwise, you will need to pick it up at Latana office
   • Remote staff registrations received by July 8 will receive priority 
3. Download an app to track your run. Free apps include:
   • Nike Run App or Strava or RunKeeper
4. Take pictures & videos of yourself completing the 5K! We encourage you to upload to your personal social media account!
   • Use the hashtag #RecordingAcademy5K
5. (OPTIONAL) Select a Charity of your choice to raise funds. Both Facebook & Instagram have built-in fundraising features

6. After you complete your 5K (3.1 miles) don't forget to submit your time via "RunSignUp"
   • You will receive reminder emails & text messages to submit your results.
