A World Beyond Wheels 5k Race Supporting Kids with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy:  WHEN: Saturday, September 7th, 10:00 am-2:00 pm / WHERE: Whittier Narrow Recreation Center, 750 S. Santa Anita Ave., South El Monte, CA 91733

Join us for a fun and meaningful 5k run/walk as we raise critical funds to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)!  DMD is a debilitating genetic disorder that weakens muscles over time. Children with DMD face a daily battle, and research for a cure is ongoing.  This 5k is your chance to make a difference! Proceeds from the race will benefit CureDuchenne, a non-profit organization dedicated to research and finding a cure for DMD.

How you can support:  We have an opportunity to support on various levels.  This can be done by registering for the walk and creating your own peer-to- peer group and inviting 5 or more people to raise $100 each.  You will receive team recognition showcasing participating teams on HHF and CureDuchenne website and social media platforms and team recognition showcasing your participation at our inaugural event!!!!!!!
