Anne Ledyard
Anne has a love for movement and sport which culminated in a B.S. in Exercise Science. Originally, she found yoga in 2013 as a deconditioning tool from training, but over the years, her training transitioned from performance enhancement to a daily practice in health and well-being. During this time she watched her mother struggle to accept and live with end stage renal failure and this deeply impacted Anne’s perception of health and wellness on a fundamental level. She believes that yoga is an effective tool in the search for and obtaining the quality of life her mother struggled to find and to which she aspired.
Anne completed her 200 Hour Power Yoga Training from Core Power Yoga in 2017. In 2019 she launched The Athlete Transition, a health coaching business to help athletes transition to life after sport. In 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anne founded OMM Yoga Studio with two of her fellow yogis, Melissa Green Henkin and Jacqueline Silva-Steuer.
Anne is passionate about empowering others to live on their own terms and is a living advocate for the tremendous power of yoga and its life changing effects. In light of current events and as the world navigates back to a new normal, creating a community that makes space for all this to happen- rebuilding, reprioritizing, reconnecting, and letting go — has been humbling. She looks forward to connecting and teaching you the possibilities of yoga.
Melissa Green Henkin
Melissa’s Yoga practice has changed and grown both on and off the mat since she took her first class over 15 years ago. What started out as a college elective, eventually turned into an integral part of her life as she navigated living in NYC and making professional and personal changes in her life. Melissa began to crave the time on her mat not only for the physical benefits and for how strong it made her feel, but also for how clear and strong her mind felt after devoting time to move, breathe, and connect with herself.
This passion for Yoga contributed to Melissa taking a leap of faith and making a career change away from the fashion industry and into the world of Fitness, Health, and Wellness. As part of this journey, Melissa participated in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through Dyhana Yoga in Philadelphia. Since then, she has furthered her education and practice through additional intensive trainings and various workshops. Melissa has also led Yoga Teacher Trainings and is E-RYT.
One of Melissa’s greatest passions is helping people improve their health, happiness, and well-being, and she loves supporting and inspiring her students and clients to push themselves to find their own love and appreciation for yoga, movement, wellness and most importantly, themselves. Melissa’s classes focus on intentional breath, proper alignment, and mindful movement, so that students can experience the benefits of Yoga, in a safe and supportive way. Melissa brings enthusiasm, humor, and positive energy to her classes and provides a non-judgmental and fun space for her students to practice, while challenging their bodies, minds and focus.
Melissa is inspired regularly by her students, clients and community, and she is so grateful to be able to hold space for others and share the incredible experiences Yoga has brought to her both on and off the mat. As a result of this passion and drive, in conjunction with the current events in our world, Melissa wanted to continue to offer a space for her students, friends, and community to move and breath together, even from afar. She also desired to make this more accessible, encouraging, and inclusive for all. With the help of two good friends and fellow Yogis, Melissa was able to create this space through the start of OMM Yoga Studio.

Peter Reyes
Peter’s decision to start teaching yoga was somewhat circuital. After spending time studying the principals of breathwork and cold immersion in Poland, his life became more intentional and purpose driven. With a newly ignited spirit, yoga became an important outlet for expression, creativity and health.
Peter enrolled in a 200 hour yoga teacher training at CorePower Yoga less than a month after his experiences in Poland. After the training, he immediately started teaching but also continued his education. In the year following his training, he continued with a CorePower Yoga Sculpt certification, Animal Flow certification, and is now a certified teacher of what initially lit his fire, the Wim Hof Method.
As a teacher, Peter values human expression above all else and tries to cultivate a freeing, comfortable space for his students. His classes are usually geared toward finding a place where you’re able to challenge your body and mind, but also find your place of meditation and focus.
“It is only through adversity do we realize our true potential.”
