Club Spinistry's 2021 Over the Top - USA's Highest Gravel Grinder

The ride is FREE for Club Spinistry members. Any fees collected are only to offset the costs for the Hut and associated expenses to support semi supported riders. Riders must be current Club Spinistry members on event weekend in order to participate.

Over the Top Multi Stage will depart the morning of 8/24 from Alma, CO. Over the Top  Hut Weekend will depart from Weston Pass that morning. Both options will overnight at Weston Pass Saturday. Each is intended for 50ish mile days with an overnight available at Weston Pass Hut for riders who opt for the semi supported option. Self supported riders are welcome to camp in dispersed area near Weston Pass or on the Hut grounds at approximately 12,000 feet. The Multi Stage 100 mile option includes a crossing of Mosquito Pass at 13.200 feet on day 2.

The Hut Weekend option will offer tamer, non competitive routes which overnight at Weston Pass both Friday and Saturday nights. More details soon on this one.

The Self Supported option is intended for bikepackers who are self sufficient. We will offer a couple of neutral aid stations to reload on water but riders should be 100% self sufficient just in case. All options are considered as extremely advanced rides and should only be attempted by people who have extensive backcountry experience. GPS files will be provide for the routes and participants must be proficient with self navigation. The use of a satellite tracking/SOS system by each participant is highly encouraged.

Please note proof of Covid 19 vaccination will be a requirement to overnight in the Hut. Any rider who reserves space in the Hut without providing adequate proof of vaccination will forfeit their reservation and any associated fees.
