Over the Top Week

This year's crazy Colorado weather has definitely interfered with our scouting and organizational plans for the 2019 Club Spinistry training week in CO. We are still on, but we will have to be a bit flexible on final details still. We have solid backup plans in place in case Plan A doesn't work out for any reason.

Over the Top proper will depart the morning of 8/24. The two 100 mile options will stage from Alma, CO. Each is intended for 50ish mile days with an overnight available at Weston Pass Hut for riders who opt for the semi supported option. Self supported riders are welcome to camp in dispersed area near Weston Pass or on the Hut grounds at approximately 12,000 feet. The Insane 100 mile option includes a crossing of Mosquito Pass at 13.200 feet on day 2. The sane version of the 100 miler will top out at Weston Pass for the overnight.

The 66 mile options will stage from Horseshoe campground. Semi supported riders will also overnight at Weston Pass Hut. Self supported riders are welcome to camp in dispersed area near Weston Pass or on the Hut grounds at approximately 12,000 feet.
