2021 HRCA St. Patrick's Day 5K- Presented By Living The Dream Brewing Company

Grab your friends, family, running/walking shoes, your best Irish costume, and join us as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a festive 5K! Presented by Living the Dream Brewing Company, this year's St. Patricks Day 5K will be the most fun anyone can have wearing green!

The run/walk will start and finish on Dorchester Street in Town Center. Once you finish your 5K, your first beer is on us! Join your fellow runners/walkers for a tasty pint by our presenting sponsor Living the Dream Brewing, FREE pancake breakfast, and entertainment.

A leprechaun will be hiding a golden kettlebell along the course! Whoever finds it and brings it back to the finish will win $100!

All racers, staff, vendors, volunteers, etc... will be required to wear a mask before and after the race. There will be a 45-minute start window (subject to change) from 9:00-9:45 a.m...During the race, runners may take off their masks but need to put it back on after they cross the finish line. Pancakes and beer will be back this year. All pancakes will be served in to-go containers including to-go syrup. If waiting in line for packet pickup, beer or pancakes please maintain social distance guidelines.

There will be a start window for the race to keep participants socially distanced. The exact length of the starting window will be available in the coming weeks leading up to the race.

We race rain, shine, sleet or snow 99% of the time! However, in the case of severe weather (lightning, tornado, bomb cyclone, hurricane, tsunami) and the course becomes inaccessible and/or pose a major safety danger to participants, the race may be postponed.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Get your leprechaun legs and lungs ready for this fun and fast 5K course that has a total ascent of 127.95 ft and has a maximum elevation of 5,767.72 ft. Starting and finishing on Dorchester Street, the course will take you through neighborhoods, along the Marcy Gulch Trail, past Fiddo's Field at Foothills Park and back to Town Center South.

Additonal Course Details

There will be one aid station available at Foothills Park (just before mile 2) that will have bottled water.
Course will be well marked with mile markers at every mile.
This race course is family & pet friendly! Please feel free to push your child in a stroller or run with your furry friend. Out of courtesy and safety for fellow runners, please start in the back.
