The American Driving Academy and the Southern Colorado Runners welcome you to the 46th Annual Spring Runoff, Sunday, March 5th, 2023. A portion of race proceeds benefit the Care & Share Food Bank of Pueblo.
Kids through 8th grade can run for free in the Funner To Be A Runner event starting at 10:45 am. Sign up for the event on this link, sign the waiver and get credit for your school.
We are offering 3 races of varying distances that should appeal to a wide variety of runners. The 5K, 10K, and 10 mile race courses all incorporate the beautiful Arkansas River Trail, beginning and ending at Dutch Clark Stadium. This year we will be running a new course that will incorporate running on both sides of the Arkansas River. Part of the course will be on top of the historic Arkansas River Levee and will use the new suspension bridge as a crossing point. All of the course is traffic free for runners safety.

Course Description (see link to course maps below):
10 Mile: This course is flat and beautiful, which takes runners from Dutch Clark Stadium, east on the river trails system to the suspension bridge across the river to the top of the Arkansas River levee then east to the turn around point. After turning around you will be running west until you near the end of the levee and run down the incline and cross the river again using the iron bridge and then continue west until the turn around point. After turning around you will head east back to Dutch Clark and the finish line. The elevated view on top of the levee gives you a birdseye view of the river and an overlook of old downtown Pueblo.
10K Run: The course follows the 10 mile course with the only difference being you will turn around sooner after heading west. After turning around you wil be heading back east to finish in Dutch Clark Stadium.
5K Run: The 5K course is flat and fast. It follows the same course as the 10 mile and 10K course. After crossing the Arkansas River on the suspension bridge you will head east for a short distance to the turnaround point where you will change directions and head back west on top of the levee. Nearing the end of the levee you will go down the incline to the iron bridge and cross the river. After crossing you will head east, down river back to Dutch Clark Stadium to finish.
