Simla 5K Fun Run

Join us in Simla, CO on September 13, 2014 for the 13th annual Simla 5K Fun Run.  The run/walk will start at Simla School and go around a course through the town.  Runners of all ages are invited to participate in the event.  There will also be a 1 mile kids fun run for ages 10 and under following the 5K race.  Start time for the 5K will be promptly at 7:30 a.m. and the kids approximate start time will be around 8:15 a.m.  There will be timers at the end of the race, but will not be 'official' times.  Come join us for a fun morning in Simla with a 5K run, followed by the homecoming parade at 10:30 a.m., lunch the town park, and stay to watch our Simla Bear Cubs homecoming football game at 1:00 p.m. All proceeds from the race will benefit Simla Athletics.

Entry fee for race is--Non-student -$25.00    Student- $18.00 (These include offcial Race T-shirt and Race Goody Bag)  T-shirt only - $15.00

Prizes will be awarded for Top 3 Men and Women & Top 3 Age 10 and under Boys and Girls.

Out of town--can't make the race--but want to support Simla Athletics through the Simla 5K Fun Run--don't worry we have you covered.  You can also run this 5k virtually!  Meaning you can run your own 5K course with your paid entry.  We will mail your race t-shirt and race goody bag to you.  Virtual runners will not be awarded any of the prizes.
