Welcome to our NuevaLife Virtual 5K! We are a team of dedicated volunteers who donate skills, knowledge, and time to run NuevaLife Foundation because we believe that with passion and dedication anything is possible! we seek to empower, collaborate, and equip indigenous communities in Latin America with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary for them to thrive in today's world. In the past decade, NuevaLife has worked with indigenous people across Latin America. By participating in this event, you allow us to help indigenous communities in extreme poverty from La Guajira, Colombia. Thank you for your great support and enjoy your 5K run

Why are we running?
NuevaLife contributes to the promotion of educational quality by supporting 11 communities in La Guajira and accompanying four educational institutions. In La Guajira, educational institutions normally have minimal state resources to carry out their activities, and these are focused on the larger campuses of the schools.
In addition to these major campuses, all schools feature satellite classrooms where younger children can study without having to travel large distances. These classrooms are frequently encountered in precarious situations, such as the ones depicted below:
OUR GOAL
With your help, we hope to be able to refurbish/rebuild a number of these classrooms with the funds raised through the NuevaLife 5K virtual race & donations so that the children of Muurai can continue to learn in a safe environment
