A run from the lush floor of the Wet Mountain Valley at 7,878' up to the top of 13,060 ft. Hermit Pass in the awesome Sangre de Cristo Mountains and back makes for a remarkable marathon experience. This is the third running of this event, on its way to becoming a Colorado Classic, so be a part of Colorado running history. The Half Hermit course will go up to 10,000+ ft. and back, and the Lucky Hermit 13K will make a loop on the rolling valley floor, both with awesome views of the Wet Mountains.
Family and friends are welcome to enjoy a day at A Painted View Ranch, and the weekend in rural Westcliffe.
Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Club America WMV, Custer County's community owned and operated nonprofit aquatics and fitness center, providing no cost/low cost fitness and swim programs for kids, seniors and veterans.
