Hard As Nails Obstacle Mud Race - Westminster is Colorado's most exciting race for participants who want to challenge themselves while supporting their community. With an adult 5k and a separate youth 2.75k course, Hard As Nails is an event for individuals of all ages. Hard As Nails will test your strength and fitness while taking fun to a whole new level. Join us for the third annual Hard As Nails Obstacle Mud Race on June 4, 2016!

The course is 5 km and includes 16-17 obstacles, or 3+ obstacles for every km of the course. The obstacles are creative and use the natural topography to weave a stimulating, challenging, and fun course. You will encounter 3-4 elements that only exist in Hard As Nails and no other obstacle course in the world.

Another very interesting feature of this course is its location and how the local area is used. Few obstacle mud races can be found in a metro area and many have back and forth courses (or laps). Not so here! We use a beautiful park and the surrounding community (tallest hotel outside Denver, firefighter training ground, Big Dry creek, and more) to create a one-of-a-kind course in Westminster proper, only 20 minutes from Denver or Boulder.

The Adult course is for those 14 years old and older. We have designed the adult course to test your physical, mental, and emotional fitness. Due to our background in rescue, medicine, and risk management, we have opted to exclude electricity, barbed wire, and fire from the course. Safety is our number one priority. However, rest assured, this 5K course is packed with punches and will definitely challenge you!
