Description
Thank you for your interest in the "Peanut Butter and Jelly Prediction Run 5k!" This is a special edition of the Neighborhood Fun Run... the PB&J PREDICTION RUN with FREE tacos and BEER* at G's Tacos in Westminster after the event! This event costs $15 per person and a jar of Peanut Butter and Jelly for Growing Home. Discounts and promo codes/vouchers do NOT apply to this event. We'll collect your PB&J and registration fee (CASH ONLY) on race day starting at 5:30 PM when you pick up your bib.
PLEASE PRE-REGISTER HERE so we can plan on you! Your payment isn't due until you arrive at the race, but your bib pick up will go SO MUCH FASTER if your sign up information is already in the system! And, we'll know how much water and snacks to have on hand!
Bring your water bottle, and we'll have coolers for refills available! This is a super low-key, no-frills race especially for those who don't want a 'high-pressure' or high cost venue, but do want a fun, safe, timed run with their friends. Walkers and people of all ages are welcome!
We'll run rain or shine or snow.
This is a PREDICTION RUN - and there is a PRIZE for the winner of the closest time....not necessarily the FASTEST. At the start line, we will collect any device that you are wearing or have on your person which can track time/distance. Every runner will be racing with NO MEANS to track their pace except by your own internal clock! (That means.... if you really can't run without your phone or your music, then this is NOT the event for you.) This is only fun and fair when EVERYONE plays by the same rules. Thanks for your cooperation.
During registration, you will tell us your predicted time. The runner who comes in closest to their predicted time (over or under) is the WINNER!

SCHEDULE
5:30 PM - 6:15 PM Bib Pick Up and Check In at the 3W Races Tent - bring your CASH for payment.
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM PB&J Donation Drop Off at the 3W Tent (Get entered in the raffle!)
6:15 PM Registration Closes - all bibs must be picked up by this time!
6:30 PM - Race Start
6:30 PM until last finisher - Raffle winners posted at 3W Tent - pick up your prize!
PREDICTION RUN WINNER(s) announced upon arrival of final finisher.
7:00 PM After Party starts at G's Tacos! Show your bib for 2 free tacos and a beer (or soda)!
TIMING AND RESULTS
You will be timed based on a mass start (everyone starts at the exact same time.) The Webscorer app will be used to record your finish time and will be updated in real time during the event. Download the Webscorer app or go to Webscorer.com on your smart phone as soon as you finish and you'll be able to see your time!
Since it is a 'fun run', there are no official 'awards' based on performance. There will be an award for the participant who finishes closest to their predicted time! Other random prizes may be awarded as well!

BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.
WATER: All 3W Races finish line areas are cup-free to keep needless waste out of our landfills. Thanks for joining us to promote responsible stewardship of our resources. We WILL have coolers of water available for you to fill your personal bottle before and after the event. BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.
There is NO Water Station on this 5k Course. BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.
FUEL: Post-race snacks, such as granola bars, bananas, and water are provided. Food and water is be available until every racer has crossed the finish line!
TOILETS: Portajohns are located at the start/finish/expo. There are not restroom facilities on the trail.
COURSE SURFACE: This course is a mix of concrete and crushed gravel with the majority of the course on crushed gravel. This course is appropriate for strollers.
DOGS Yes - you may bring your dog to run with you. Just make sure he's well behaved, stays on a leash, gets cleaned up after and doesn't trip anyone while on the course!
We'll have a dog water bowl at the finish area for your K9's refreshment!
STROLLERS Yes - you may participate with a stroller. Please start toward the back of the group, so that the quick runners without strollers don't have to dash around you at the start! If your child stays in the stroller, you do NOT have to register them as a separate participants. Our rule is if your child uses their own two feet to participate, that's when you need to register them. This is due to safety, participant counts for city permits and calculation of materials needed for the race!
*AFTER PARTY!
We love our local taco shop! G's Tacos is hosting the AFTER PARTY for this event.
Two tacos and a BEER (or soft drink) are included in your registration fee!
