Before you dig into your Thanksgiving feast, run with us along the Water Valley starting and ending at the Pelican Lakes golf course parking lot! This race is great for the whole family! Dogs and strollers are also allowed.
We know times are tough. With the government shutdown and food programs like SNAP being cut back, many families are feeling the impact. So this year’s Turkey Trot has a completely free option for anyone in need — no questions asked.
Let’s come together, move with gratitude, and make sure everyone has a place at the table. 💛
Walk or Run if you can, give if you’re able — everyone’s welcome.
The Free Race Registrations are completely anonymous to the public, with results merged with the standard Run and Walk categories.
All paid and free entrants will receive chip timing, bibs, chances at top finisher prizes in the
Run division and enjoy the after party food and drinks!

Because of the government shutdown and reduced access to SNAP and food assistance programs, we’re opening this year’s Turkey Trot for free to anyone in need. No one should have to choose between staying active and putting food on the table.
This run is our way to bring the community together — to move, give thanks, and support one another. If you’re in need, please join us. If you’re able, please give. Everyone is welcome.
Your donations will go directly to funding the race for those benefitting from the Free option.
