WeCare-Mother's Day 5K

♥ ♥ ♥ 14th annual Mother's Day WeCare 5K ♥ ♥ ♥   

May 10, 2026. Race kicks off at 9am. Sign-in and warm up starting at 8am.

Presented by Brookfield High School's National Honor Society and Sweet Scoops ∼ Supporting Brookfield Cares, a non-profit organization driven by local volunteers, focused on addressing youth mental health.

Certified 5K USATF course  •  chip timing  •  T-shirts to first 100 registrants  •  Refreshments  •  Awards  

Course Route: Starts at Brookfield High School-->Long Meadow Hill Rd --> Hop Brook Rd (cone turnaround) -->Long Meadow Hill Rd -->Finish at Brookfield High School.

Registration:

$30 per person. Register up to 10 runners at a time to save on processing fees.  

Teams welcome! Runners must enter together as a team, pay as individuals. (Teams not eligible for individual awards.)

Registration closes May 6 at 12:00 noon. 

In-person, race-day registration starting at 8:15AM ($35)

Straight DONATIONS  are also gratefully accepted by contacting the race director

Awards: 

Overall Female: 1st place

Overall Male: 1st place

TROPHY awarded for First place for each team: Mother/Daughter, Grandmother/Granddaughter, Mother/Son, Grandmother/Grandson 

RIBBONS: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd  place for male and female in each of 9 age groups: 8 and under; 9-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
