Colchester Youth Services’ Resolution 5K Run - VIRTUAL EDITION

Start the new year off running at the Colchester Youth Services Virtual Resolution 5K Run!

For the safety of everyone involved in our event, we have decided to host our race virtually.  That means you can run your 5K anywhere, at a time that is convenient for you. Then, submit your finish time right here on the RESULTS tab. Once you submit your time, you may be eligible for one of our finisher medals. Since the race is not chipped this year we have created some fun run medal categories. If you would like to be considered for one of these categories, please send your bib number and photo to CYSResolutionRun@gmail.com. Medal winners will be notified by 1/4/2020 and receive their medal in the mail.

Your 5K time must be submitted by 11:59 PM on 1/1/2021.

Medal Categories

1. Youngest Participant: This will be determined by registration information

2. Oldest Participant: This will be determined by registration information

3. Fastest Overall Finisher (Male and Female): This will be determined by the time submitted to the results tab

4. Furthest Participant (from Colchester, CT): This will be determined by registration information

5. First 5K: This will be determined by email submission

6. Most Festive Running Outfit: This will be determined by photo submission

7. Best Rainbow Outfit: This will be determined by photo submission

8. Cutest Furry Running Companion: This will be determined by photo submission

9. Biggest Hill Conquered: This will be determined by a photo submission of your completed run route. It must include the incline or elevation information.

10. Running with Wheels: Stroller, wheel chair, etc. This will be determined by photo submission.

11. Family Run: This will be determined by email or photo submission.

12. Best Resolution: This will be determined by photo submission

13. Most Scenic Route: This will be determined by photo submission 

14. Most Creative Finish Line: This will be determined by photo submission

Proceeds will go towards the Colchester Youth Center and Youth Services Scholarship Fund. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Colchester Food Bank.
