March For Matthew 5K

This year, March For Matthew 5K  will be completely virtual. There is no way we would let one year slip by without resuming this special event. We decided as a family that it is in our participants, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, friends, and family's best interest to hold this event virtually to assure the utmost comfort and safety of everyone during this unprecedented time that we all are experiencing.

The March For Matthew 5K was organized in great honor of Matthew Scott Tillinger. On May 6th, 2013, at the young age of 21 years old- Matthew's life was cut short abruptly from an aortic aneurysm while he was in the hospital waiting far too long to receive an "emergency" procedure that could've saved his life. Not only is our goal to hold this special event in our Matthew's beautiful memory, our hopes are to raise as much awareness as well as spread knowledge and information on aortic health especially in young adults more and more each year.
